1. Do you
still make the Rev X?
Discontinued in 1999 with a
small additional run of 150 or
so in 2002. No longer available.
2. Why did
you discontinue the Rev X?
Technology marches on. The new
wheels are superior in every
way.
3. Why
do my brakes pulse?
Lateral and vertical runout will
not usually cause strong brake
pulsing unless the lateral
runout gets to more than .150".
Carefully measure the width of
the outer edge of the rim at
every spoke and between every
spoke. Record the dimensions and
serial #. The variance from
widest to narrowest point should
be no more than .014" with tire
inflated to 125psi or .012"
without tire.
4. Is my
older carbon wheel safe?
As with any carbon bicycle
component, inspect periodically
for cracks, gouges, separations
in the carbon. Discontinue use
if any of these conditions are
found.
5. What
are the tolerances for trueness?
All Spinergy wheels are checked
to be within these tolerances
before shipping. Lateral runout:
.015" Vertical runout: .015 Rim
width variance: .012" (measured
without tire)
6. Do
you have a trade-in for old
wheels?
