I have a pair of GXX wheels I would like to swap to a hybrid bike. At present they are 12mm through axle. I want to convert to 15mm through axles, what parts do I require ?

End caps arrived last week. Had to remove a bearing and have the internal diameter of the crush spacer machined as it was approx 14.4mm internal dia and the 15mm through axle wouldn’t go through. All sorted now. Many thanks Steve Baker
The end caps arrived the week before last. Because the internal diameter of the crush spacer was around 14.4 millimeters, and the 15 millimeter through axle wouldn't fit through it, a bearing had to be removed, and the internal diameter of the crush spacer had to be machined. basket random

To convert your GXX wheels from 12mm through axle to 15mm through axle, you will need to replace the end caps of your hubs to fit the new axle size.
You can check with the manufacturer of your wheels to see if they offer end caps for this conversion. Some manufacturers offer end caps as separate components that can be swapped out easily.
If the manufacturer does not offer end caps for the conversion, you can try looking for third-party end caps that are compatible with your hubs. Just make sure to get end caps that are specifically designed for your hub model and the new axle size you want to use.
Once you have the new end caps, you can remove the old ones and install the new ones using a compatible tool. Some end caps can be installed using a simple hex wrench, while others may require a specialized tool. Be sure to follow the manufacturer's instructions carefully to avoid damaging the end caps or the hub.
